How RB2B Credits Work
Updated over a week ago

Understanding the credit system is crucial for optimizing your usage of our services. This article provides a detailed overview of how credits function within our platform, including allocation, usage, and management.

What is a Credit?

A credit represents the identification of a visitor within a 30-day period. Each visitor identified within this time frame consumes one credit. The system is designed to give you insight into your visitors while managing your credit usage effectively.

A credit is defined as a profile that includes a LinkedIn URL or is identified as a known profile within your connected CRM.

Credit Allocation

Each plan comes with a specific number of credits allocated per billing cycle (monthly or annually). These credits:

  • Are refreshed at the beginning of each billing cycle.

  • Expire at the end of each cycle and do not roll over to the next.

For example, if your plan includes 500 credits per month, you will start each month with 500 new credits, regardless of how many were used or unused in the previous month.

Maximum Annual Credits

Each visitor can consume up to 12 credits per year, one for each monthly cycling in which they are identified. This ensures that repeated visitors within different monthly cycles continue to provide valuable insights without exceeding your credit limit. You will not be billed for an identified user's repeat visits during the same monthly billing cycle.

Managing Overages

To prevent unexpected charges, you can set an overages threshold in your account settings. If you exceed your allocated credits within a month, overages will be billed separately. You have the option to:

Upgrading Your Plan

If you find that your current plan’s credits are insufficient, you can upgrade to a higher tier. Upgrading mid-cycle involves:

  • Prorated charges based on the days remaining in the cycle.

  • Immediate adjustment of your credit allocation to the new tier.

Checking Your Credit Balance

On the lefthand side of the "Plan Details" section you will see your credit usage for the current billing cycle. If you are using the free version of RB2B, you will be limited to 200 credits collected per month. You may want to consider upgrading to a Pro plan if you find yourself hitting your monthly collection cap.
