You can update your RB2B subscription or purchase additional credits at any time by clicking Buy Credits in the dashboard sidebar, or by visiting https://app.rb2b.com/subscription.
Managing your credits and subscription plans in RB2B is crucial for optimizing your usage and ensuring you have the resources you need to meet your requirements. Understanding how credits work across different plans helps you make cost-effective decisions for your business.
Understanding how credits are consumed is essential for managing your RB2B account effectively. Credits are deducted for specific actions, such as identifying visitors at both the person-level and company-level, with each identification consuming one credit. Additionally, dashboard metrics like the "Companies" bar display unique companies identified per day, but this does not directly correlate to the number of credits consumed, as each company-level identification still uses credits.
How Credits Are Consumed
Credits in RB2B are consumed based on specific actions within the platform. For example:
Identified Visitors: Credits are deducted for all identified visitors, including both person-level and company-level identifications. Each identification consumes one credit.
Dashboard Metrics: The "Companies" bar in the dashboard shows the number of unique companies identified per day. However, this is not a direct count of company-level visitor events. Every company-level identification still consumes credits.
If your account was previously on a plan with doubled credits and has since been moved to a lower plan, this change can also result in credits being consumed more quickly than expected.
Viewing Your Current Subscription
At the top of the Subscription page, you’ll see a summary of your current plan, including:

Changing Your RB2B Plan
From the Subscription page, you can:
Continue with Pro or Pro+ or Starter, after your initial trial
Downgrade to the Free plan with restricted services
Purchase additional credits on top of your current Pro or Pro+ plan
Note: To cancel your subscription entirely, follow the steps outlined in the FAQ: How do I cancel my subscription? When you cancel your RB2B subscription, any special benefits associated with the plan, such as discounted credits, are no longer available once the subscription ends. Be sure to use any remaining discounts or credits before proceeding with a cancellation to maximize their value.
Purchasing More Credits
Users can add more credits by selecting the desired number and subscription frequency, then clicking Select Plan. If you need fewer credits than the minimum purchase requirement, consider enabling overages. Overages allow you to exceed your plan’s included credits by a limit you choose (e.g., 100 additional credits). Overages are billed per credit at a fixed rate, so you only pay for what you use beyond your plan.
Understanding credit consumption patterns can help you decide when to purchase additional credits. For instance, credits are consumed for all identified visitors, and changes in your plan, such as moving from a higher credit allocation to a lower one, can lead to faster credit depletion.
If you need more credits, follow these steps:
Access the Billing Portal: Navigate to the credits purchase page in your billing portal.
Select Credit Amount: Choose the desired credit amount (e.g., 300 or 600 credits).
Complete the Checkout Process: Follow the checkout flow until you reach the confirmation screen.
Immediate Availability: Once the purchase is confirmed, the credits are added to your account immediately, and your billing cycle restarts from the purchase date.
Changes made to your plan, including credit purchases, are activated immediately, providing instant access to the selected resources.
For users requiring large volumes of credits (e.g., above 20,000 resolutions), RB2B supports purchasing up to 2.5 million monthly credits. To do this:
Log in to the RB2B dashboard.
Follow the purchasing flow for credits.
Select the volume you need and complete the purchase.
Credit Purchase Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues while purchasing credits, follow these steps:
Verify the Purchase Attempt: First, check the transaction history in your account for any record of the payment or pending charges.
Retry the Purchase: Go to the Credits Purchase Page within your billing portal, select the amount, and complete the checkout process.
Confirm Purchase Success: Credits should immediately reflect once payment is completed. If not, contact support for assistance.
⚠️ Important: Regardless of frequency, unused credits remaining at the end of a billing cycle are not carried into the next cycle. The only time that unused credits will carry forward is when changing your subscription frequency and/or purchasing more credits. Overages are billed incrementally, allowing you to avoid unnecessary expenses if your usage varies.
How Credit Purchases Affect Your Billing Cycle
When you purchase more credits:
Your current billing cycle ends immediately.
A new billing cycle begins, and your existing unused credits are rolled into your new credit pool.
You’ll be billed immediately based on your new credit selection. Additionally, charges from your previous plan are not prorated during an upgrade. However, the full value of your unused credits is preserved and applied to your upgraded plan, ensuring no loss of benefits.
Upgrades to a higher-tier subscription take effect immediately, allowing you to access new features and limits right away.
Unused credits from your previous plan are rolled over into the new plan seamlessly.- For downgrades, the system charges you for the new plan as soon as the change is made. Any unused credits from your previous plan are rolled into the new billing cycle, ensuring that you do not lose them.
If you're downgrading to a lower-priced plan, the change takes effect right away and you’ll be charged the new, lower rate immediately. Benefits associated with the higher-tier plan, such as discounted credits and additional features, are discontinued once the downgrade is processed. The plan change page clearly specifies the charges, and the proceed button displays the exact amount that will be billed, ensuring transparency and avoiding confusion.
For subscription upgrades, you’ll be charged the new plan rate and your billing cycle is reset to the day of the upgrade. For repurchases of the same plan, a new billing cycle also begins, renewing after one month at the original price. For better understanding, no proration of prior charges occurs. Instead, the value of any unused credits is fully carried over, allowing for seamless transitions between plans. When upgrading your subscription, the system charges the full amount for the new plan rather than just the difference between the old and new plans. The exact amount to be charged is displayed on the plan change page before you confirm the upgrade, ensuring transparency.
Confirming Your Plan Change
Before confirming your plan change, consider the following factors:
Are you consistently exceeding your allocated credits? If so, enabling overages can be a temporary solution, but upgrading to a higher-tier plan might be more cost-effective in the long run.
Review your credit usage patterns over several billing cycles to identify trends and potential savings.
After selecting a new plan or purchasing additional credits, you’ll be asked to confirm the change. The confirmation page includes:
A summary of your current plan
Details of the new plan or credit purchase
A field to enter a coupon code (if applicable)
Settings to configure overage limits which allow you to continue using services even when you exceed your credit allocation (Learn more about credit overages) Overages let you set a specific limit for additional credits, so you only pay for what you use beyond your plan's allocation. This prevents large upfront costs while giving you the flexibility to scale your usage incrementally.
Your billing details – if no payment method is saved, you’ll be prompted to add one
Click Confirm Plan Change to finalize.
⚠️ Important: Do not navigate away from the page until you see a confirmation message indicating your plan or credit purchase has been processed successfully.
