Free Plan: One-Time Slack Notification Pause on January 28, 2026

Updated this week

On January 28, 2026, we temporarily paused Slack notifications for Free plan accounts as a one-time check to confirm that accounts were still active and intentionally in use.

This allowed us to ensure system resources were being used by teams actively reviewing and acting on the data, while still allowing Free plan users to continue exploring RB2B uninterrupted in the dashboard.

What Happened During the Pause

Data collection continued

  • Visitor profiles continued to be collected as normal.

  • Profiles remained visible in your RB2B dashboard throughout the pause.

Slack delivery was temporarily paused

  • Slack notifications stopped until you either confirmed you were still active or upgraded your plan.

  • No visitor profiles were lost during this time.

When Slack was turned back on

  • Once you chose to continue or upgrade, Slack notifications resumed immediately.

  • Up to the last 10 profiles collected during the pause were sent to Slack.

If No Action Was Taken

If no action was taken within 24 hours of the pause:

  • The tracking script was automatically disabled, and new visitors were no longer identified.

  • This remained in place until you chose to continue your service or upgrade.

  • Once action was taken, the script was re-enabled and normal collection resumed.

Why This Was Done

This one-time pause ensured Slack notifications were sent only for actively used Free plan accounts, while still allowing continued visibility in the dashboard. It also prevented unnecessary data collection when alerts were not being reviewed.

Upgrading removes this behavior entirely and allows uninterrupted Slack notifications going forward.
