Before starting the Slack integration, make sure you're logged into just one Slack workspace, as being in multiple workspaces may interfere with choosing a channel for notifications.

Setting Up an Integration with Slack
To initiate your Slack integration, navigate to Integrations from the sidebar menu. Locate and select Slack among the integration options or visit https://app.rb2b.com/integrations/slack
Please ensure that you have a Slack channel created prior to taking this step.
Click on Connect to Slack to open an OAuth dialog, which will guide you through connecting your Slack account to our app. Follow the straightforward steps provided, and you will then be prompted to select a channel for receiving notifications.
💡 Tip: By default, the channel/message picklist from Slack contains a finite number of options. If the channel you are looking for is not listed, click on the left side of the input and type the name of the channel that you wish to use. Slack will then search through available channels for a match.
Slack Integration Settings
RB2B's Slack integration offers a range of customizable settings, allowing you to control the flow of visitor insights directly to your Slack channel. These settings enable real-time updates and summary reports, ensuring you stay informed without overwhelming your workspace.
Available Settings:
Status – This toggle allows you to enable or disable the Slack integration without fully disconnecting it. When turned off, RB2B will pause sending updates to Slack but retain your integration settings for easy reactivation.
Send Repeat Visitors to Slack – When enabled, this setting notifies your Slack channel whenever a previously identified visitor returns to your website. This helps your team track engagement and follow up with interested prospects more effectively.
Send a Daily Recap – Turning this on activates an end-of-day summary report, providing a snapshot of the visitors identified by RB2B throughout the day. This overview helps teams quickly assess traffic trends and visitor activity without needing to check the dashboard frequently.
With these settings, you can tailor the Slack integration to fit your workflow, ensuring that your team receives relevant insights in a way that enhances productivity rather than creating unnecessary noise.
Viewing What Channel Your Notifications Are Sent To
The channel to which your Slack integration is currently connected is displayed beside "Connected channel."
Disconnecting Slack
To disconnect your Slack integration, click the Disconnect from Slack button.
