How RB2B's HubSpot Integration Works

When integrated with HubSpot, RB2B automatically creates a designated form called "RB2B Form" within your HubSpot account. This form is a crucial part of the data transfer process, as RB2B uses it to submit newly identified visitor profiles directly to HubSpot via an API call. Each profile is linked to a unique tracking cookie for seamless ongoing identification and activity tracking within HubSpot.

Key Details to Know

  • Non-Editable Form: The "RB2B Form" is automatically generated and non-editable. This setup ensures consistency in data submission and tracking.

  • Lead Tagging: All leads submitted to HubSpot through this integration are automatically tagged as "marketing" leads. Due to limitations in HubSpot's API, this tagging cannot be modified by RB2B.

Important Pre-Integration Steps

Since RB2B relies on HubSpot forms to transmit identified profiles, your existing HubSpot form settings directly impact how information is submitted. Please review and adjust your form settings to avoid potential issues:

  • Free Email Providers: If your HubSpot form settings are configured to "block free email providers," any leads identified with personal email addresses (such as Gmail or Yahoo) may be excluded from submission. Adjusting this setting, if needed, can help ensure that valuable profile information is successfully transmitted.
