Frequently asked questions about RB2B's CSV Exports feature.

When I try to download a CSV in my browser it looks like gibberish, why?

Most browsers will allow you to simply click on the file to download it but some browsers, depending on your settings, will try to open the CSV file directly in your browser. When this happens, you see the contents of the file, with all of the entries separated by commas. Hence the name CSV or Comma Separated Value.

You can avoid this by using the download method described below.

To download a CSV from a specific day, find the date listed in the right-hand column then right-click the corresponding filename on the left. Choose Save Links As from the list of menu items to save the file to your computer.


Can I filter the profiles that are added to a CSV export?

Yes, RB2B allows you to apply filters to the profiles before exporting, so you can generate reports that focus on the most relevant or high-value leads.

How to Filter Before Exporting

  1. Go to the Profiles Page
    Navigate to the Profiles section from your RB2B dashboard.

  2. Apply Filters
    Use the available filters to narrow down the list of profiles based on your preferred criteria. Common filtering options include:

    • Number of Page Views – Focus on visitors who have shown higher engagement on your site.

    • Hot Page Views – Filter for visitors who have viewed key conversion-oriented or high-intent pages you’ve designated as Hot Pages.

    • Hot Leads – Include only those profiles that have been automatically tagged as Hot Leads based on engagement signals and your lead scoring rules.

  3. Export the Filtered Results
    Once your desired filters are applied:

    • Click the Export button at the top of the page.

    • You’ll be redirected to the Exports page where you can configure the final report, including selecting the number of records to include.


Can I generate an export for a date range longer than 30 days?

At this time, the maximum time range for any export is 30 days. You cannot generate a report that spans a period longer than that, and there is no workaround available to extend the export window beyond this limit.

Additional Notes:

  • This 30-day limit applies regardless of how frequently you export. Even if you’re on a plan with higher credit usage or reporting frequency, the export range is still capped at 30 days.

  • RB2B’s support team is not able to bypass this limitation or generate custom exports that exceed the 30-day window.


Can RB2B automatically send CSV exports to my database or storage system?

No, RB2B does not currently support direct integration with external databases or storage platforms for automatic CSV delivery. All exports must be manually downloaded from the RB2B dashboard.


Can I connect to an API to download the CSVs?

RB2B does not currently have an API available for users to integrate with. Adding an API is not currently on our development road map and we have no plans to add one in the near future.


Can I export all of my data from the start of my service?
