Follow this guide to authorize your domain, install the tracking script, and confirm everything is working correctly.
Open the Script Management Page
Go to Script in your RB2B dashboard or visit: https://app.rb2b.com/script
This is where you manage your authorized domains and access your installation code.
Authorize Your Domain
RB2B requires domain authorization before your script can run. This prevents unauthorized installations and protects your credits.
To add a domain:
In Code Script, click Add a Domain.
Enter the domain where the script will run.
Click Save.
Examples of what is authorized:
rb2b.com→ all subdomains (www.rb2b.com, support.rb2b.com, etc.)support.rb2b.com→ only that subdomainwww.rb2b.com→ only that specific hostname
This ensures accurate tracking and prevents data leaks.
Install the Tracking Script
After saving your domain, install the RB2B script on your site.
You can choose the guide that matches your setup:
Manual installation (general HTML)
Visit the Script Installation Guides in your dashboard for step-by-step instructions.
Using a modern web app (React, Next, Angular, etc.)? Make sure the script fires on every page view, not just the first page load.
Verify the Script (Recommended but Optional)
Use the Test Script Tool on the Script page:
Click Test Script next to your domain.
A pop-up will load your site and check for the script.
Keep the pop-up open until the check completes.
If the tool confirms installation, the script is active—even if you don’t see your own visit identified later.
Troubleshooting Script Visibility
If the Test Script tool confirms installation but you don’t see it in your site source:
Most common cause: caching
Check for caching plugins (WP Rocket, WP Fastest Cache, etc.)
Clear plugin cache
Clear CDN/server cache
Test in incognito
Additional checks
Ensure the correct script snippet was installed
Clear your local browser cache
Re-run the Test Script tool
Inspect your site’s source code to check for the script tag
If the Test Script tool reports success, you can rely on that result.
Best Practices
Always authorize domains before installation
Use the Test Script tool during setup
Clear caches after making updates to your site
Re-verify after major CMS or CDN changes
Ensure single-page apps fire the script on each route change
Frequently Asked Questions About Script Installation
Can I prevent your tracking script from running on certain pages on my site?
Yes, RB2B users can prevent their tracking script from running on certain pages of their site using the URL Restrictions tool.
Do I need to verify my script for it to function?
The built-in script verification tool serves primarily as a convenience to assist with the installation process. Importantly, the script will automatically verify itself the moment it transmits the first byte of data, making manual verification a helpful but not mandatory step.
What is the expected timeframe for RB2B to become operational after installing the script on my website?
RB2B begins functioning immediately upon installation on your website. However, the visibility of incoming data depends on the volume of US-based traffic your site receives. If your site typically experiences lower traffic or fewer US visitors, there may be a slight delay before you start seeing data.
Should I add the RB2B tracking script to my entire website or just a single page?
We strongly recommend installing the RB2B tracking script across your entire website rather than limiting it to just the homepage or a single page. Our recent analysis shows that users who apply the script site-wide collect significantly more profiles —approximately 1863% more — compared to those who only install it on their homepage or a single-page website.
By implementing the tracking script throughout your entire site, you ensure comprehensive data collection from all visitor interactions, which is crucial for effective profiling and analytics.
Can I installed RB2B on GoDaddy Websites + Marketing / Website Builder?
GoDaddy's Websites and Marketing or Website Builder software does not allow users to add custom code to the head of their website and therefore RB2B cannot be used on sites created using either of those services.
Those services limit users to adding custom HTML into the body of their website via an iframe and RB2B cannot function in that type of environment.
If you are using GoDaddy's Websites + Marketing or Website Builder services, please consider exploring other options for hosting and managing your website if you intend to use RB2B.
Is installing RB2B's tracking script mandatory?
Yes, installing RB2B's tracking script on your website is a requirement to use RB2B. This script is essential because, without it, RB2B cannot identify your visitors.
Do I need to add anything to my website to ensure that RB2B only tracks US-based visitors?
No, you do not need to add any additional functionality to your website to ensure that RB2B only tracks U.S.-based visitors. RB2B handles this automatically for you.
