URL Restrictions
RB2B offers a URL restrictions tool that allows users to exclude traffic based on specific keywords in the URL. This is particularly useful for filtering out visits from particular companies or sources. To configure the URL restrictions:
Navigate to the URL Restrictions Tool in your RB2B dashboard.
Enter the keywords or URLs you wish to exclude (e.g., "examplecompany.com," "examplekeyword").
Save your configuration to activate these restrictions. This feature ensures that traffic from URLs containing these keywords will not be tracked, allowing for granular control of collected data.
Limit which pages the script is active on.

Domain Exclusion List
The domain exclusion list is another RB2B feature for managing data collection. It allows you to exclude known customers, coworkers, or specific groups of users based on their email domains. This is particularly helpful for avoiding duplicate or unnecessary data. To set up a domain exclusion list:
Go to the Domain Exclusion List Tool in your RB2B dashboard.
Input the email domains you wish to exclude (e.g., "@exampleclient.com," "@companydomain.com").
Confirm and save your settings to apply the exclusions. With this tool, data from users with excluded email domains will not be included in traffic analysis.

Adding a Domain

To incorporate a new domain into your tracking script, please follow these instructions:
Click the Add a Domain button.
You will then be prompted to enter the new domain you wish to track with your script.
To ensure the security and effectiveness of our tracking script, it's important to let us know which domain you plan to use it on. Our script is designed to run exclusively on domain that you authorize in your account as a safety measure.
Examples of domain rules:
rb2b.com will load on
rb2b.com
,www.rb2b.com
,support.rb2b.com
, etc.support.rb2b.com will run only on
support.rb2b.com
.
Once you have entered your domain, click Save to publish your changes. If you wish to cancel, click Cancel to abandon your changes.
Removing a Domain
To delete a domain from your RB2B tracking script, please follow these instructions:
Go to your dashboard and select Script from the sidebar menu or visit https://app.rb2b.com/script
Find the domain you wish to remove and click on the trash can/delete icon located to the right of the domain name.
Confirm your choice by clicking Yes, Delete or you can cancel it by clicking Cancel.
Please be aware that removing a domain will deactivate the tracking script for that particular domain. If you wish to resume tracking, you will need to add the domain again to your tracking script.
Making an Inactive Domain Active
To activate an inactive domain, on the Script page, simply press the Make Active button located to the right of the domain name. Upon clicking, a confirmation pop-up will appear, informing you that this action will cease data collection on the currently active domain and transition it to the selected domain.
You can click Cancel to abandon your changes or click Yes, continue to proceed.
You can repeat the process if you wish to undo your changes and revert back to your previous domain.
Accessing Your Tracking Script HTML Snippet
To access your HTML script, follow these streamlined steps:
Go to your dashboard and select Script from the sidebar menu.
Click on View Script located at the top right corner of the screen.
In the View and Install Script section, click the designated call to action
Or visit https://app.rb2b.com/script/install
By clicking the Copy Code button, the script will be copied directly to your clipboard, allowing you to easily paste it using your preferred method of installation.
To test if your script installation was successful, click Test Script on Website and a pop-up window showing your website will briefly appear as our services verify the installation.
Do not close the pop-up window. Closing the pop-up will cause the verification to fail.
If we are not able to verify the script installation, click here to troubleshoot.
Emailing Your Tracking Script to a Teammate
To email your tracking script to a teammate for installation assistance, follow these streamlined steps:
Go to your dashboard and select Script from the sidebar menu.
Click on View Script located at the top right corner of the screen.
In the Send Script via Email section, click the designated call to action button or visit https://app.rb2b.com/script/setup_script_email
Enter your teammate's email address in the prompt.
Confirm by clicking Send Email at the bottom of the screen.
This process ensures your teammate receives the necessary script directly, facilitating a smoother installation process.
To send to more than one teammate at a time, separate their email addresses with commas e.g. [email protected], [email protected]
