Gaining Access to an Existing RB2B Account

Updated yesterday

There are two common scenarios where users need help accessing an existing RB2B account: joining an account that already has active users, or regaining access to an account that is controlled by a former employee. This article outlines the correct steps for both situations.

1. Accessing an Account With Active Users

If the RB2B account already has active users, access must be granted by an existing user.

How Access Works

  • RB2B does not have an account owner or admin hierarchy

  • All users have equal access within an account

  • Users are added by email invitation from within the dashboard

Steps to Gain Access

  1. Ask an existing RB2B user on your team to invite you from the dashboard

  2. Ensure the invitation is sent to your company email address

  3. Accept the invitation from the email you receive

Once accepted, you will have full access to the account.

If You’re Unsure Who Has Access

If you’re not sure who currently has access, check internally with teammates in marketing, sales, or RevOps who may already be using RB2B.

2. Accessing an Account Controlled by a Former Employee

If a former employee is the only person with access to the RB2B account, our support team can help restore access after verifying ownership.

What We Require

To protect account security, we require the following:

  • The name and email address of the former employee

  • Your request must come from an email address on the same company email domain

This allows us to confirm that the request is legitimate and associated with the company that owns the account.

What Happens Next

Once verification is complete, RB2B support can:

  • Add you as a user to the existing account

  • Remove the former employee’s access if requested

There is no restriction on removing the last active user, as long as access has been re-established for your team.

Important Follow-Up: Billing Email

After gaining access to an account that was previously managed by a former employee, we strongly recommend updating the billing email address on file to ensure invoices and billing notifications are sent to the correct contact.

Need Help?

If you’re unable to gain access using the steps above, contact RB2B support from your company email address and include any relevant details so we can assist as quickly as possible.
