How RB2B's Salesforce CRM Integration Works

Updated over a month ago

How RB2B Syncs Identified Visitors with Salesforce

When RB2B identifies a new visitor to your website, the Salesforce CRM integration processes the individual’s information based on your configured settings. If the identified individual belongs to an existing Account but does not yet exist as a Contact, RB2B can either create a new Contact linked to that Account (recommended) or ignore the individual based on your preferences.

If the individual does not belong to a known Account or lacks company information, RB2B can create a new Account alongside the Contact, generate a Lead instead (recommended for early-stage prospects), or choose not to add the individual to Salesforce. These flexible options ensure that your CRM remains organized and aligned with your lead management strategy.

⚠️ Important Note: Salesforce requires an Account Owner to be set when an Account is created. By default, the user who set up the RB2B Salesforce CRM integration will be named as the Account Owner for all RB2B created Accounts.
