RB2B users can manually tag or untag any identified visitor as a Hot Lead directly from the dashboard.

Benefits of Tagging a Visitor as a Hot Lead

Tagging a visitor as a Hot Lead helps prioritize high-value prospects within your dashboard. This designation can be used to:

  • Flag key decision-makers or high-intent visitors for faster follow-up.

  • Help align your sales and marketing teams by clearly identifying top prospects.

  • Improve workflow efficiency by filtering or sorting for Hot Leads during campaign planning or lead reviews.

  • Offer flexibility in mixing manual tagging with automated workflows by understanding when and how Zapier or other systems interact with new Hot Lead designations.

How to Tag a Visitor as a Hot Lead

To manually tag a visitor as a Hot Lead in the RB2B dashboard:

  1. Locate the profile you want to sync and click into their full profile.

  2. Under the Profile Tags & Connections section, click Manage to expand the menu then select the tag(s) that you wish to add the visitor to under the Edit Hot Leads Tags section.

Once tagged, this visitor will retain the Hot Lead status and appear accordingly in your dashboard and any relevant reports or exports, ensuring they are highlighted for ongoing engagement. Rest assured that any manually tagged profiles are retained even after updates to RB2B's user interface. These updates may involve relocating buttons or menus but will not impact your existing data or tags.

Note: Manually tagging a visitor does not retroactively send them to any integrations associated with the chosen tag(s). Zapier workflows are activated only when the tagged user visits your site afterward. To automate processes immediately after tagging a lead, consider designing a separate automation, or look for triggers independent of user visits.

How to Remove the Hot Lead Tag

If a visitor no longer qualifies as a Hot Lead, you can easily remove the tag:

  1. Locate the profile you want to sync and click into their full profile.

  2. Under the Profile Tags & Connections section, click Manage to expand the menu then select the tag(s) that you wish to remove the visitor from under the Edit Hot Leads Tags section.

This action will unmark the visitor, and they will no longer appear in filtered views or reports that are focused on Hot Leads. Removing the tag can help keep your lead prioritization list accurate and up to date as lead quality changes over time.

Advanced Manual Tagging Strategies

To ensure greater control over your manual tagging system:

  1. Create unique tags specifically for manual use, such as "Hot Leads."

  2. Avoid interference from auto-tagging systems by setting filtering criteria unlikely to occur naturally, like improbable geolocations or device-specific attributes.

  3. Regularly audit and refine criteria to maintain alignment with lead management goals.
