RB2B’s New Email Validation Tool: Raising the Bar for Contact Accuracy

Launched: April 1, 2025

RB2B includes a built-in email validation layer within its identity resolution platform. This capability adds an additional level of precision to the profiling process by validating all newly resolved email addresses before they are surfaced or shared.

What Changed

RB2B has long provided high-quality contact data based on behavioral signals, location, and professional context. As of April 2025, every newly identified email address is checked for authenticity before being attached to a visitor profile. Only validated emails are included in reports or made available for downstream use.

Why It Matters

In B2B outreach, email accuracy directly impacts deliverability, sender reputation, and campaign performance. Invalid or outdated email addresses create unnecessary friction and operational overhead. Email validation helps address this by:

  • Improving lead quality with verified contact information

  • Reducing bounce rates and protecting deliverability

  • Eliminating the need for manual or third-party verification

  • Supporting more reliable outreach and higher ROI

How It Works

Email validation is fully integrated into RB2B’s identity resolution workflow. When a visitor is identified and their profile is enriched, the associated email address is automatically validated in real time using industry-standard validation methods. Emails that cannot be confirmed as authentic are excluded from the final profile.

No configuration or setup is required. Email validation is enabled by default for all users.

Ongoing Focus on Data Quality

Email validation is part of RB2B’s broader focus on accuracy, reliability, and practical usability. By filtering out unverified contact information at the source, RB2B ensures that teams are working with data they can confidently act on.

Email Validation Types in the RB2B Dashboard

When viewing a visitor’s profile in the RB2B dashboard, you’ll notice a tag next to their email address indicating how that email was validated. These validation tags provide insight into the source and reliability of the email data, helping you better assess contact quality.

Validation Tags and Their Meanings

Tag

Meaning

RB2B Verified

The email address has been independently validated by RB2B’s internal verification process, ensuring a high level of accuracy.

Third-Party Verified

The email address has been confirmed as valid through one of RB2B’s trusted third-party data partners.

Catch-All

The email has been verified by a third-party partner as either a valid individual email address or from a domain that accepts all email formats (a "catch-all" domain), which indicates a reasonable likelihood of deliverability.
