How Changing in the Middle of a Billing Cycle Works
If you switch to a new plan in the middle of your billing cycle, your billing cycle will reset, and your new plan will take effect immediately. Any unused credits from your previous plan will carry over and be available for use during the first cycle of your upgraded plan.
This ensures a seamless transition, allowing you to maximize your remaining credits while benefiting from the features of your new plan right away.
Re-Purchasing Your Existing Plan
You don’t need to upgrade or downgrade to make a mid-cycle change. You can simply repurchase your current plan, keeping the same number of credits while starting a new billing cycle.
Changing Your Billing Cycle Frequency
You can switch between monthly and annual billing at any time.
Switching from Annual to Monthly: Any unused credits from your annual plan will carry over and be applied to the first month of your new monthly plan.
Credits and Rollover: Unused credits do not roll over at the end of a billing cycle. They only carry over when upgrading from one plan to another.
This ensures you get the most out of your remaining credits while transitioning between billing options.
Why Upgrade in the Middle of a Billing Cycle?
Upgrading your plan before your current billing cycle ends can help ensure uninterrupted access to credits. Common scenarios where a mid-cycle upgrade may be necessary include:
Running Out of Credits on an Annual Plan: If you deplete your credits weeks or months before your renewal date, upgrading allows you to continue identifying visitors without waiting for your next billing cycle.
Exceeding Your Credits on a Monthly Plan: If you use all your monthly credits before your renewal date, upgrading provides immediate access to additional credits rather than waiting for the next cycle.
When you upgrade, your new plan activates immediately, resetting your billing cycle. Any unused credits from your previous plan will be carried over into your first cycle under the upgraded plan.
